Specifying Against Real Loads

Thickness is chosen against wheel loading. A pallet jack and a counterbalance forklift are different problems, and point loading from racking legs is a third.

Chemical resistance is specified against what is actually used in the building: hydraulic fluid, coolant, solvent, brine, acid. Tell us and we will match it.

Slip rating gets set against how wet the floor gets and how it is cleaned.

Impact resistance matters where steel stock gets dropped. That is a build-thickness question with a real answer.

Working Around Production

We phase the work. Sections are ground, coated and returned to service while the next section is prepared, so the building keeps running.

Nights, weekends and planned shutdown windows are normal for us. So is working to a permit system and a site induction.

Dust is contained at the grinder with vacuum shrouding rather than managed afterwards, which matters when there is stock in the building.

Polyaspartic is our default over standard epoxy flooring where a floor has to carry traffic the next morning.

Repair And Recoat Rather Than Replace

Industrial epoxy flooring that has worn through in the traffic lanes usually does not need stripping back to bare slab.

Worn zones can be ground, repaired and rebuilt while sound areas take a refresh coat. It is a fraction of the cost and a fraction of the downtime.
